Crofton girls basketball coach Maggie Moon has been chosen as a recipient of the 2024-2025 NSAA Champions for Coaches award for girls basketball.
This award recognizes one active coach from each of the 28 NSAA sponsored sports and activities who go above and beyond for their players, team, and community.
According to the NSAA, the message of the award is,” Every coach plays a vital role in shaping the future, but some go further— motivating students to achieve their best, fostering a culture of respect, and building bridges between the classroom and the community.”
Coaches are nominated by students, parents, administrators, and community members and are chosen by an NSAA selection committee.
Winners of the award will be recognized at the 2025 Class A Boys State Basketball semifinal at the Pinnace Bank Arena on Friday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m.
